surprises,likewise this CD has Cedrick singing about
revenge and betrayal.
Lightnin' Malcolm's guitar
licks are haunting and brissle with raw powerful

reminder of why we love this gut bucket genre.

Over the last two years, Lightnin has been busy. When not promoting his album "JUKE JOINT DANCE PARTY," he's been touring with JIMBO MATHUS or as a member of BURNSIDE EXPLORATION, or playing drums for blues legends T-MODEL FORD and ROBERT BELFOUR. He's traveled overseas to Europe as well as almost every state in the U.S.
A versatile studio musician, Malcolm has worked on many albums this last year including Burnside Exploration, Jimbo Mathus, Luther & Codi Dickinson, Dewayne Burnside, David Kimbrough Jr., Big Jack Johnson, Big George Brock, Hubert Sumlin, Jimmy "Duck" Holmes and Bud Spires, Odell Harris, John Sinclair, Affrossippi and many others.
Look out for Malcolm's 2 upcoming albums "SONGS HEARD AROUND THE WORLD" and "HEAVY DRIVE" due out next year. Both contain all originals covering almost every genre of popular music, yet still grounded in the North Mississippi Hill Country Blues.
"Some people at the House of Blues in Hollywood called about featuring me as an "emerging artist" Malcolm said,"so we'll see what thats all about."
Highlites of the last year have been opening for BUDDY GUY at the FILLMORE in San Francisco and Hollywood House of Blues, the Roots and Blues Fest in ITALY, and the Juke Joint Festival at home in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
Thinking back on the last 2 years Malcolm said, "It's been great. I've been able to stay really busy doin' what I love, working with people I love. I've been working with some of the best musicians in the world and learned alot. I'm writin' the best songs I ever made, and I'm lookin' forward to gettin' my new music out there to the people."
